Big Fish Contests: Total paid $10,000.00! (10 contests at $1,000.00 each):

FREE ENTRY with every valid ticket. Each contest pays as follows: 26 spots (13 Carp; 13 Cat). FIRST (1^st) AND LAST (13^th) pays $100.00 each, 2^nd pays $50 each, 3^rd thru 12^th pays $25 each. That’s right, First and LAST pays $100 each for Carp and Cat.

Independence Day, July 3-6: This 3-day, $2-entry pool will start with $50! Pays 4 spots, 2 cat and carp: 1^st=30%, 2^nd = 20% each. 7/3, 6 p.m. – 7/6, 6 p.m. Our 4^th $1,000 Big Fish Contest pays out July 4^th @ 4:00 p.m.!

Dog Days of Summer: Not at Indy Lakes; The fishing is great and the contests are too. And, our baitshop and restrooms are air-conditioned and we’re open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week! Free tickets for good students, lots of big money pools, the BIG FISH CONTESTS worth $1,000’s, day and night pools, Lucky Catch pools worth even more $1,000’s, 24 hour pools, ~daily channel stocking & more…..

8-hour Carp Weight Tournament, August 24: It’s our first total-weight tournament in years, with some twists! $50 entry, all entry money goes to the winners (100% payout). Complete rules not finalized until August 10, so please make suggestions! (sorry, team-weight is out as all other pools and contests will be running during this tournament). Total weight caught from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. BUT, the carp must each weigh on or between 3.0 and 12.0 pounds. The Pond is closed for this tournament. Pays 5 places: 1^st = 30%, 2^nd = 25%, 3^rd = 20%, 4^th = 15%, 5^th = 10% of total pot. All other pools will be running and all pool and contest rules apply, plus additional posted by August 10. The angler will release all carp, after official weigh-in, to the pond or tank as directed. You don’t have to weigh in your own fish if you have an approved non-fishing guest such as significant other, responsible child, or another paid angler that assists in landing or carrying. You may enter other pools and you are always entered in the Big Fish Contest with a valid ticket.

Labor Day Pool, 8/29-9/1: Season is ending but the good value goes on! This $2 three day pool pays 6 places: Three biggest Cats and three biggest Carp. For each: 1^st=30% of pot, 2^nd=20% of pot, 3^rd= free big net (value $30 each). Friday, August 29^th @ 6:00 p.m. until Monday, September 1^st @ 6:00 p.m. Our 7^th $1,000 Big Fish Contest pays out Labor Day at 4:00 p.m.!!

$Big Hourly$: Sunday, September 14; You’ve seen versions elsewhere, but none with this value: An 8-hour fishing-fest that could pay up to $1,000+ in one hour. Pays 2 spots per hour! Details: $100 entry and the biggest two fish every 60 minutes gets 20% of the pot (1^st = 75%, 2^nd =25%), until the last hour where THE REST OF THE POT is paid. Pool runs from 8:00 a.m to 4:00 p.m. Normal pool and ticket rules apply, thus you can enter all other pools and will also be in the BIG FISH CONTEST. You can enter at any time you purchase your ticket since the pot is paid out by percentage. WE PAY OUT ALL POOL MONEY, WE DON’T KEEP ANY. See separate Hourly Pool Rules posted by 9/7. No advanced ticket sales and no reservations. (⁺amount based on total pool entries, for example: 50 people enter by 8 a.m. gives a $5,000 pot. First hour total pot is $1,000 thus 1^st = $750.00, 2^nd=$250.00, 2^nd hour pot is $800, etc. LAST HOUR POT would then be $1,310.72!!!). The pot goes up with any additional late entries (if you arrive after 8 a.m., you can still enter and know that all money is paid to any winners left at 20% of pot per hour.). Checks are not made out until after 4:00 p.m. unless a catch is under review. Checks can be mailed on request. If no catch during an hour, then no winner for that hour (pot thus bigger for future hours). Last hour: if no catch, then first fish weighing 5.0 pounds or higher wins.
